Description

  • 1.Basic Structure: Primarily consists of needle rollers, a cage (forming the cage assembly), along with a shaft ring (fixed to the shaft) and a housing ring (fixed to the bearing housing). It lacks separate inner/outer rings, instead utilizing the shaft journal and housing bore as raceways. The overall design is thin and compact, saving installation space.
  • 2.Load Capacity and Rotational Speed: Capable of withstanding axial forces in one direction only; cannot handle radial forces. Features low friction but is suitable for medium to low rotational speeds. Its applicable rotational speed is lower than that of thrust ball bearings and cannot be used at high speeds.
  • 3.Common applications: Primarily used in compact equipment subjected to significant axial forces, such as automotive clutches, motorcycle transmissions, power tools (like impact drills), and roller shafts in textile machinery.
  • 4.Installation and Maintenance: When installing, ensure proper alignment of the shaft collar, seat collar, and shaft/bearing housing, otherwise the needle rollers may fail. Regular lubrication with grease is required. The shaft journal and bearing housing bore must be sufficiently hard and smooth, otherwise they will wear quickly and have a short service life.
