Return and Refund Policy

MotorCart is a brand owned and operated by Handelnine Global LLC.

We want you to shop with confidence. This Return & Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which orders may be cancelled, returned, replaced, or refunded, as well as the steps required to request assistance from our customer support team.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible after placing your order. If the order has not yet been processed for shipment, the cancellation request will be approved and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests may no longer be possible and the order will instead be subject to the return provisions outlined in this policy.

Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be returned within the applicable return window.
  • Be unused and in substantially the same condition as received.
  • Include all original packaging, accessories, tags, manuals and documentation, where applicable.
  • Not fall within any excluded product categories identified in this policy.

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements.

Change-of-Mind Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase or simply change your mind, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery, subject to the eligibility requirements above.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns.

Original shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, or other non-refundable service fees may not be refunded unless required by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Non-Functional Products

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, non-functional, materially different from its description, or incorrect, please contact our customer support team within 30 days of delivery.

To assist with the review process, we may request photographs, videos, product serial numbers, or other information reasonably necessary to assess the issue.

Upon verification of the claim, we may, at our discretion:

  • Provide a replacement item
  • Provide replacement parts or other corrective measures
  • Issue a full or partial refund, or
  • Offer another appropriate resolution.

Where applicable, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs associated with verified claims of this nature.

Lost Shipments

If your order appears to be lost in transit or has not been delivered within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery date, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We may initiate an investigation with the relevant carrier or logistics partner before issuing a replacement or refund.

Where a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier or otherwise determined by us to be undeliverable, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement shipment or a full refund.

Return Process

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue or reason for return, and
  • Supporting photographs or documentation, where applicable

Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide detailed return instructions, including packaging requirements and shipping guidance. Approved returns must be dispatched within 14 days of receiving these instructions.

Please do not send items back without first contacting our customer support team and obtaining return authorization. Returns received without prior approval may experience processing delays or may not be accepted.

Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns. However, for change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Refund Process

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome of your refund request. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Where a refund is approved, we aim to process it within 3-5 business days of completing our review. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider and financial institution.

Refund Limitations

Refunds may be reduced or denied where:

  • Returned items show signs of use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product
  • Products are returned incomplete or missing components
  • Damage occurred after delivery due to misuse, improper handling, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear, or
  • The return request falls outside the applicable return window.

Refunds for Undeliverable Shipments

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at the time of purchase. If a delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the shipment when required, the order may be returned to us by the carrier.

In such cases, any return shipping costs, customs charges, storage fees, or carrier-imposed fees may be deducted from any applicable refund.

Reimbursement of Customs Duties, Taxes or Import Charges

As our orders are shipped internationally, we take reasonable measures to ensure that customs duties, taxes, and import-related charges are handled transparently and to minimise unexpected costs upon delivery.

If you are required to make any additional customs, tax, or import-related payment in connection with your order, please contact us at info@motorcart.uk and provide a copy of the payment receipt.

Subject to verification, our customer support team will review the charges and assist you with reimbursement of any eligible amounts.
