Description

  • FITMENT - For select Hyundai and Kia gasoline engines on the 2-pin purge solenoid: Accent, Azera, Elantra, Genesis, Genesis Coupe, Kona, Santa Fe, Sonata, Tucson, Veloster, Cadenza, Forte, Optima, Rio, Sedona, Sorento, Soul, Sportage. Match old stamp.
  • REPLACES - Replaces Hyundai/Kia 28910-3C200 and 289103C200. Crosses Dorman 911-349 and 911349, Standard CP635 and CP725, Wells PV650, Airtex 2M1284, Beck/Arnley 0460108, 1815959. FREPURDO is aftermarket, not genuine Hyundai or Kia.
  • BUILD - 12V DC, 2-pin plug, 2 vacuum ports at 0.34 in OD, 0.25 in inlet ID, plastic housing, about 2.625 in long, normally closed. One solenoid. Mounting bolt, vacuum hose and harness are not included.
  • FUNCTION - ECM pulses this normally closed valve to meter fuel vapor from the charcoal canister into the intake manifold. Resolves P0441 and P0496, hard starting after refueling, rough idle and fuel odor. Check gas cap and hoses first.
  • BEFORE ORDERING - Purge valve in the engine bay only, not the canister vent valve near the tank and not an EGR valve. Not the older 28910-3C100 used on MPI engines. Match 2-pin plug, 2 vacuum ports and old stamp. Disconnect the battery.
