Fits all GM 4.3, 5.7, 6.2, and 6.5 mechanical pumps as well as Ford 6.9 and 7.3L in addition to some Stanadyne and Roosamaster Ag and Industrial pumps (12 volt applications).

If this solenoid fails you may experience:
Truck will not start
Truck will not start hot
Truck quits when it gets hot

To check it, you can energize the front electrical terminal on the injection pump with a jumper wire - you should hear a distinct click as the solenoid operates. Sometimes they only cease to operate when they get warm. There are other causes compatible with the above mentioned problems, so you should do a little diagnosis becompatible withe replacement.
