Used on Mercruiser stern drive V6 engines with one piece exhaust manifolds, or that originally had the 1 piece manifolds these are wider and have a flat tip. If you have ever overheated these tend to get damaged. Sometimes you will find pieces of them in the exhaust when you remove the drive for servicing.
