Description

  • Location: it is usually installed on the fuel distribution pipe, and some models are located in the fuel tank.
  • The fuel injection quantity is affected by the absolute pressure of the fuel injector and the opening time, and the absolute pressure is the pressure difference between the fuel manifold and the intake manifold.
  • The fuel pressure regulator ensures the absolute pressure of the injector to be constant by adjusting the system oil pressure, so that the fuel injection quantity is only determined by the fuel injection time controlled by ECU.
  • After the engine stops, the oil return valve is closed under the action of the spring, and a certain residual pressure is still maintained in the oil circuit.
  • Replacement conditions: If the fuel pressure regulator works abnormally, it usually needs to be replaced, and the pressure of the fuel system should be released before disassembly.
